LA-8 in HO scale

After a fair bit of tweaking and correcting, I’m proud to announce that Neil Ward’s LA-8 highside wagon design is now available in the store. This model is designed for HO scale, as the parts won’t scale down for NZ120. Close observers will know I printed off some of these on my original AnyCubic Photon 3D printer to mixed results, so this design is an evolution based on that experience, and higher resolution printers I now have.

The model now comes with several detail parts:

  • The chassis, designed for HOn3.5 / HOnz 12mm gauge

  • The wagon proper

  • Handbrake and ratchet

  • 4x hooks and chains

  • 2x brake hoses

The chassis is designed to fit Wuiske Models 12mm wheelsets.

This is the second HO scale wagon from Neil Ward we’ve released, and I intend to bring more over the coming months as we continue to expand our range.
