NZR RM class - Silver Fern - NZ120
The Silver Fern railcars were introduced by NZR in 1971, and were utilised on the Auckland-Wellington daytime service until 1991. From 1991 to 2001 they operated the Auckland - Tauranga and Auckland - Rotorua services. Following the cancelation of these services, the Silver Ferns transferred to Auckland’s outer suburban services, running between Pukekohe until 2009. From then until their ultimate retirement, the Ferns were used for special charters, including a stint with Dunedin Railways. Today all three Silver Ferns are preserved at the Pahiatua Railcar Society.
This model is NZ120 (TT scale, 1:120 on 9mm gauge track).
The model comes with:
2x Railcar shell - power car and trailer car
4x bogies (x3 - 2-axle bogies and 1x 3-axle bogie sideframes)
2x underframe details

SD7 or SD9 Co-Co chassis, with one bogie removed.
